Moreno with $23 M deal with Denver

Knowshon Moreno is now the Denver Broncos‘ top draft pick after signing an agreement for a $23 million contract for five-year. NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora was told by a league source. Moreno got guarantee money of $13 million in the deal. Moreno has 2,734 yards and 30 touchdowns while playing in the University of Georgia. He was the 12th pick overall and the first running back to be selected in the April draft of the NFL. He will start to practice on Sunday with the Broncos.
He has do a lot of catching up due to his delayed debut. He has already missed 12 training-camp sessions and a scrimmage at Invesco Field. Josh McDaniels, the First-year Broncos coach said he has no grudges and his teammates were excited for his arrival and would add some offense that they lost when Pro Bowl quarterback Jay Cutler left for the Chicago Bears.
